What’s Happening:

SdB eZine…appologizes for the delay in publishing this installment of your friendly gossip blog. With no further delay here’s what’s going on…

Could a tell all book in the works blow the lid off of hip-hop and other celebrity gays? Mediatakeout.com is reporting that some unknown gay rapper, named of all things…”Caushun” (pronounced caution) is working on what he is calling the gay superhead! The book will detail the life of the young rapper and  is set to expose the secret homosexual lifestyles of a number of hip hop superstars. One of the celeb’s mentioned is the bloated business woman and model Kimora Lee Simmons. Caushun, who was signed to Kimora Lee Simmons’ Baby Phat Records, was reportedly privy to some of Kimora’s deepest secrets.

Caushun who claims that the book will talk about Kimora’s “extremely close” relationship with a lesbian woman named Kisha. Kimora reportedly purchased a Manhattan apartment where she allowed Caushun and Kisha to live in – rent free. The source explains, “in return for free rent, Caushun was a decoy for Kimora and her [close friend] Kisha … When the three of them (Kimora, Kisha, and Caushun) were seen in public, Kisha was explained as Caushun’s roommate and not Kimora’s [close friend].”

And the source claims that Kimora frequently visited Kisha at the apartment. Adding, “one of the neighbors would complain about all the loud moaning that came from the apartment whenever Kimora and Kisha were there.“

And the book won’t stop at Russell and Kimora. Sources claims that it will out a number of popular hip hop stars that lead closeted lifestyles. According to our source, one popular rapper that spent some time in prison recently slipped Caushun his number at an industry party. Another rapper, who had been aggressively hitting on Caushun, put the gay rapper’s photo on his myspace page for weeks.

Caushun has one little hurdle that may send his obvious last ditch effort at stardom out the window…he apparantly signed a confidentiality agreement with Kimora Lee Simmons that prevents him from publicly talking about their relationship. Also, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Caushun is currently in the midst of legal troubles that could land him in prison…So why are we reporting on this again!?!?

After reading that we at the SdB eZine could really use a shower but instead we’ll just go right into this next story which now seems more than appropriate …The last black hope Barack”he speaks so well” Obama met with rapper/actor Ludacris to discuss AIDS awareness with local college students the Chicago Sun Times reports.

Signed on as a spokesman for the international YouthAids organization’s “Kick Me” youth awareness campaign, Ludacris talked safe sex and condoms in a frank, one-hour Q & A with students at Evanston’s Northwestern University, then whisked off in an entourage of Cadillac Escalades to meet with Obama at the senator’s downtown office.

“I talk a lot about sex in my music, but you don’t ever hear me talk about condoms,” the rapper told about 125 Northwestern students.

After meeting with the senator, the entertainer would only say, “We talked about empowering the youth,” likening the meeting to that of family.

Obama, too, declined to comment on the meeting afterward, but his spokesman said it focused on AIDS awareness.

Asked whether the meeting with Obama yielded any joint projects for Ludacris and the senator, Green was firm.

“It was definitely a timely meeting as World AIDS Day [Friday] approaches, but there are no definitive plans for the two to be working together on anything in the future,” Obama’s spokesman said. In other words don’t call us we’ll call you…

In other related news from Chicago…columnist and bloggers are reporting that the Senator is poised to run for president! Chicago Sun Times columnist and blogger Lynn Sweet is saying: I think Sen. Barack Obama, who is seriously considering a run for president, is going to jump into the 2008 race. I predict the freshman Illinois Democrat will announce near the end of this year or the beginning of 2007, sometime after he returns from a holiday break in his native Hawaii. All we can say at the SdB eZine is: Run Obama you can win…but leave Jessie at home…please. They gonna come talking about keeping hope alive and how he and Al can help…just tell them you got it, you cool..in fact we know you got caller ID, don’t even take the calls, send them 99’s straight to voicemail.

What’s Happening: Whoa nelly, where do we start…so much has happened in the the last 24 hours we don’t know where to begin…Tracy Morgan and Snoop Dogg  go to jail, Michael Baisden has been fired by ABC, LL decides to roll with 50 cent, and the lurkers are fired up!  To recap a story posted here yesterday LL Cool J, in an Let’s all say it  together: “Huh”, ongoing protest with Jay Z and his decision to come out of retirement has decided to roll with 50 cent. HipHopdx.com is reporting that the ab man we all love has decided his next album, will be executive produced by 50 Cent!  When asked why he chose the G-Unit front man LL resoonded:  “We’re from Queens. We’re seven years apart in age. He knows what I’m into. We come from the same experience, so the music reflects that. And let’s face it, 50 reminds me of a place I was in awhile ago. I have been running around on tours. I have been in the suites, and I haven’t been on the blocks smelling like Guinness lately. It’s fun to work with somebody who rekindles those flames and makes me hungry again. It’s definitely working.” What the end product turns out to be remains to be seen…but honestly we at SdB eZine really just want to know what JayZ thinks about this latest turn of events!

In other news…go to jail, directly to jail, don’t pass go and don’t collect $200!! Snoop Dogg was arrested for investigation of illegally possessing a handgun and drugs as he left NBC studios after performing on the “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno.  The 35 year old rapper, and two members of his entourage were arrested around 6 p.m. yesterday evening. The arrests stemmed from an investigation that followed the rapper’s Oct. 26 arrest at Bob Hope Airport after airport police said they found a gun and marijuana in his car.  The  Associated Press  is reporting that Snoop was released on $60,000 bond and will be arraingned on Jan 12th, the original October 26th case is scheduled for a Dec. 12 arraingment…Comedian Tracy Morgan also spent some time in the slammer. The former “Saturday Night Live” regular was arraigned Tuesday in Manhattan Criminal Court on DWI-related charges. The Associated Press is reporting that The 38-year-old comedian who currently stars in the show “30 Rock” was released on his own recognizance. His next court date is January 4. Morgan faces charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while impaired. Morgan was stopped around 4:30 Tuesday morning while on the Henry Hudson Parkway near West 158th Street. The prosecutor recommended a $1,000 fine, five days of community service and a DWI program.  But Morgan’s lawyer rejected the plea offer. (Huh, what does he think he can get a better deal …this 99 got a prior!) In December 2005, Morgan was arrested in Hollywood on impaired driving charges after police stopped him for speeding. Authorities there said his blood-alcohol level was .13 percent, over the legal limit of .08. Last February, he pleaded no contest to misdemeanor drunken driving and was sentenced to 36 months’ probation, fined $390 and ordered to attend an alcohol education program. Morgan, who was ordered to turn over his driver’s license, did not speak in court or to reporters as he left the courthouse.  All SdB can say is:  No get out of Jail free cards for you two instead we’re going to give you a clue… both of you have an Entourage!?!? Why do either you have to drive, carry dope or a gun when you have flunkies that will do it for you!!?!?

In other news that will make you shake your head…Mediatakeout.com is reporting that Michael Baisden the self procalimed bad boy of talk radio is has been fired by ABC.  Two weeks ago Michael Baisden did his last live radio show. And it now looks like that may have been his last show ever. Michael Baisden has been negotiating with ABC Radio Network to extend his contract. And MediaTakeOut.com spoke exclusively with an executive at ABC Radio Network who claims that the negotiations with Michael Baisden are over – and Michael Baisden will not be returning. What a shock to the ego. Monique has been filling in for the bad boy and was considered as a replacement however she apparantly wants more money then they were willing to give him so she too is rumored to be on her way out…we will keep you posted as things delevop.

On TV… Will Smith and wife Jada are working on two projects to bring a new sitcom to both the CW and ABC. The untitled CW project, from CBS Paramount Network TV and Overbrook Entertainment, is a single-camera half-hour about a group of mostly divorced mothers who live in a large apartment complex. From the point of view of a security guard who patrols the area, it focuses on the women’s child-rearing problems and their dating lives.  Insiders were quoted saying ”The (apartment) development will be a character in the show in the way that New York City was a character in ‘Sex and the City.’ “…Yeah a story about baby mama’s living in the projects or one step-up told by a security gaurd who patrols the area sounds real sex and the cityish to us…*insert your own rolleyes here* The premise of the first show is so lame that SdB ezine didn’t even bother to find out what the second show will be about!

 On SdB… Not only are the lurkers attached to the board-where they just can’t kick rocks as they’ve proclaimed they were going to do-they’re also attached to your friendly SdB eZine. Wow who knew! Yes people as soon as the word went out that we see dead members they started coming through the walls. It seems in a obvious attempt to prove themselves not lurkers two were spotted in the PM section yesterday, actually posting. Our sources tells SdB eZine that one lurker in particular seemed even more saltier then when it left..it appears the wound must run deep!  All SdB eZine can say is: (the same thing we said a few months ago)…”why are you still talking about this!?”

And while we’re on the subject….Straight from the “things we can’t believe people are even talking about” file…  Group to Judge Madonna Fitness to Adopt! Human rights organizations will help decide whether Madonna is fit to adopt a Malawian toddler, a judge ruled Wednesday. Judge Andrew Nyirenda ruled in favor of a coalition of 67 Malawian human rights and child advocacy groups who want to be party to the assessment of the 48-year-old pop singer’s fitness as a mother. On Oct. 12, Nyirenda granted Madonna and her husband, filmmaker Guy Ritchie, an interim order allowing them to take initial custody of 14-month-old David Banda. The couple were allowed to take David to their London home…Let’s all say it  together: “Huh”!? Does it really take 67 “GROUPS” to figure this out!?!?

What’s Happening: Beyoncé Knowles tells the Associated Press she enjoyed the vibe on the set of DreamGirls! Ms. Knowles reportedly said, “I got to work with the best actors. They are so polished and so supportive. Usually, when you have Oscar-winning actors, sometimes they are not so supportive. But I could just watch and learn, it was a great vibe. Everyone was just happy to be involved in the movie.Ms Knowles also said one similarity between her real life and her character is that when she was part of the singing group Destiny’s Child, like the Dreamettes, the trio once lost at a talent show…We at the SdB eZine can think of a WHOLE lot more similarities but they would be closer to the Supremes… in fact you can just call her Ms. Ross, oops we mean Ms. Knowles. DreamGirls the movie also stars Eddie Murphy, Jamie Fox and Jennifer Hudson the movie will hit theaters December 25, 2006.

So what they cancelled it, I STILL got paid!! So take that….In other news the fallen hero OJ Simpson has reportedly told a Miami Radio station in an interview  that cancelled hypothetical memoir “How I did it” was “blood money” and that he did it solely for financial gain.. The book and TV interview would have focused on how he might have killed ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson.  Simpson says he was paid for his scrapped book and TV show and has already spent the money. (Ain’t that just like a 99, lol) Simpson insists he has still picked up his paycheque – reportedly $3.5m – and has already reaped the financial benefit.  Simpson was quoted saying ”Would everybody stop being so naive? Of course I got paid. I spent the money on my bills. It’s gone.” We at SdB eZine ain’t mad atcha OJ!…May we never forget that 14 year old Emmet Till was kidnapped and murdered on or about August 28, 1955 by Roy Bryant and his half brother J.W. Milam. Fewer than four weeks after Till’s body was pulled from the Tallahatchie River, an all white, all male jury acquitted the two of the murder. They subsequently detailed to a magazine journalist how they beat Till, took him to the river, shot him in the head, tied a large metal fan to his neck with barbed wire, and pushed his body into the river. Don’t be fooled folks the media is trying to trick you there ARE people worse than OJ in this world…Don’t believe the hype man, don’t believe it..

.And in other show me the money news…  LL Cool J at War with JayZ: Rapper Cool James  has slammed Def Jam President “Jay Z” for putting his artists’ careers at risk by coming out of retirement (again!?!).  LL accuses Jay of not promoting his latest album Todd Smith (isn’t that the name of like 5 of his other albums). Mr.. Smith told MTV, “How am I gonna re-sign with competition? I’m not an idiot. I can’t depend on that man to promote my record while he’s somewhere writing rhymes.”  All SdB eZine can say is: *snicker*, he got a point son!

 Around SDB…The war at home seems to have fizzled out with little more than a *pop*, instead of a bang! The anti-Christ has not destroyed SdB as predicted, the natives are at ease and the lurkers still lurk. Well actually some of them have started to speak, yes a lurker has showed up in the PMs…. stay tuned as we wait to see how that unfolds. A new member is still under a cloud of suspicion and SdB eZine is starting to believe the rumors… and we had such high hopes that he was the real deal! But to solve this issue once and for all, we are officially putting an APB out for our resident deadbeat. He is described as a black male, with an extremely large belly, unkept beard and no money. He was last spotted at a bar with a suitcase which may contain a blow up doll dressed in traditional African garb. It’s official, fully confirmed, straight out the horses mouth…Janet Jackson is a Nasty Girl! This is truly a day of recognition for all the brothers who thought it, suspected it, wished for it and the mad few that may have witnessed it… your day has finally come!  The shy whisper voiced beauty has confirmed that she is a freak.  Now for all the sisters who either saw the velvet rope concert, any one of her videos or an ocassional superbowl halftime show, your probably scratching your head thinking “What, that broad BEEN a freak, when was it ever a secret!!?” I know ladies, I know…

Reportedly Janet Jackson has confessed to joining the mile-high club. The pop superstar who is dating Jermaine Dupree revealed her secret during a probing 20 questions section on Tyra Banks’ talk show. Blushing Janet was initially reluctant to talk about the craziest place she’s had sex until Tyra started digging deep to get to the truth. Tyra in a relentless ploy for rating points would not take “airplane bathroom” for an answer,  prompting Janet to reveal: “It was at my seat.” According to “Ms. Jackson if your Nasty”…this all occured on a commercial flight. In this media happy day and age, with little privacy or candor if this had happened we’re sure her plublicist would have leaked it. SdB eZine is not buying it so don’t believe the hype folks…Mile high inclusion does not happen if the sex is on a private jet…Nice try Janet… Watch a segment of the show that aired. In other news MediaTakeout.com has learned that the latest to enter the reality show frenzy is hip hop star Akon.

Akon’s reality show has an interesting twist. You see, Akon, who is originally from Senegal Africa, is a practicing polygamist.

The show, which is currently in pre-production, is set to feature all three of Akon’s wives – living under one roof. A person close to the production tells MediaTakeOut.com, “this is going to be the strangest reality show ever … the way Akon manages his ’situation’ is nothing short of incredible.” the source adds, “since Akon is on tour most of the time, the show is going to spend a lot of time featuring the wives.”

And according to MediaTakeout sources, the show is set to have some explosive moments. The insider explained, “only one of the wives is [a native of Africa], the other two are American … and that seems to cause a lot of tension in the house.” 

Despite his record label Universal banning him from promoting his polygamy to the world, the Senegalese-born star is determined to show how his lifestyle doesn’t harm anyone and follows the rules laid down by the Koran.

Two of the wives are American!! All we can say here at Sdb is “Celie you has my sympathy, it’s not too many womens let they husbands hoe lay up in they house!!!”

Nas’s baby mama has a new tell-all book, called “It’s No Secret.” Carmen Bryan says in the book Nas beat her, cheated on her, cut her child support, and then invited her for a threesome with the “Milkshake” singer Kelis, just before they married. The book, titled It’s No Secret, will tell the story of Bryan’s life and experiences.

Carmen Bryan shares a a daughter with Nasir Jones (Nas) and was at the center of the infamous Jay-Z/Nas rap war. Although Bryan dated the men at the same time, jealousy and ego provoked both rappers and their respective record companies to release and promote disparaging songs that erupted into a vicious war of words. Instantly, Bryan was thrust into the public eye with her reputation in tatters. This book should really help…way to go Carmen!

Yes he is being ignored electronically.  We’re wondering what he has up his sleeve to counter that one…SdB’s eZine thinks it may be time to hang-up the old moniker and start anew…what say you? Comedian Michael Richards appeared on the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s nationally syndicated radio program, “Keep Hope Alive,” as a part of a series of apologies for the incident. He said he knew his comments hurt the black community, and hoped to meet with the two men.

He told Jackson that he had not used the language before.

“That’s why I’m shattered by it. The way this came through me was like a freight train. After it was over, when I went to look for them, they had gone. And I’ve tried to meet them, to talk to them, to get some healing,” he said. The men Richards verbally assualted have retained the legal assistance of the infamous sleaze bag lawyer Gloria Allred and is seaking monetary damages for hurt that Richards inflicted upon them.  Let’s all say it togehter…huh!?!?! Jessie, is STILL trying to keep hope alive…I wonder if he’s doing a better job at that then he did keeping his !@%# in his pants….ouch!

Instead of all things TL we are going with a new format! The new SdB blog will be a daily e-zine featuring everything, from entertainment news and gossip, to politics and funny pics. Anything and everything  that catches our interest.

What’s going on….Kanyé West - Says he likes women of mixed race and that there would be no music videos without them…Is this brother serious, please tell me he was misquoted!? Can you say: Kanyé West does not care about BLACK WOMEN! Kanyé apparently will appear in the Jan 07 issue of Essence Magazine where he is quoted as having said “If it wasn’t for race mixing there’d be no video girls. Me and most of our friends like mutts a lot. Yeah, in the hood we call ‘em mutts!” How he could use the word “mutt” in a sentence and not be describing himself is funny all by itself. But in all seriousness this man does not come across to me as being that dumb, he has to be fairly shallow and disrespectful to make a comment in that forum. Essence, is a magazine with a primarily black female audience and I hope they hang his funny looking behind out to dry.  Ladies, what say you?

Speaking of brothers who have a problem with sista’s….Wesley Snipes is in the news again…(no he hasn’t taken that DNA test or claimed his crack baby yet)…no he’s doing us one even better… Flipper is taking on the IRS.   An Oct. 17 indictment charges Snipes with fraudulently claiming refunds totaling nearly $12 million in 1996 and 1997 on income taxes already paid. The star of the ‘Blade’ trilogy and other films was also charged with failure to file returns from 1999 through 2004. Wesley, was quoted via email as having said, ‘It appears I’m to be the scapegoat, because there’s more public interest in `celebrities gone bad’ than `rich people being taken advantage of.” If convicted, Snipes, 44, faces up to 16 years in prison.  I swear men take getting out of paying child support too damn far!! 

In other news Eddie Murphy was on the Oprah Winfrey show on Monday toting the new movie Dreamgirls. Murphy was quoted as saying a difficult divorce helped his acting become more emotional….(falling bare back into an ex-spice girl probably didn’t hurt either).

Yes the father of –five, six… screw it-a gang load of kids is supposedly expecting a baby with Scary Spice. First Skelator now Scary…this brother needs an intervention.  This will reportedly be Eddie’s eighth child– all we can say here at SdB is…Hercules, Hercules, Hercules.

On TV….

For those of you who like to watch celebrities do their celeb thing The American Music Awards are being held tonight. 

 Talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel is set to emcee the three-hour ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium, to be televised live on ABC. The show will boast a star-studded lineup of performers, including Beyonce!  We will have the scoop and all the action here tomorrow!!

Around SdB…  (No one is beyond gossip at the SdB e-zine). New music and features are being added everyday attracting new members and old a like. A new member has joined among a cloud of suspicion is he or isn’t he an alter…we will soon see!  Members report confusion and dislike for the new format but we at the SdB e-zine think they are just spoiled or lazy you be the judge! An oldie but goodie showed up this week causing hysteria among the natives. A couple even threaten to leave…stay tuned for more on this saga. Lawyers for CBS Corp. argued Monday that singer Janet Jackson’s breast-baring at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2004 was unintended, took place without the knowledge of the network, and should not be considered indecent.

CBS is suing the Federal Communications Commission in the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia, challenging a $550,000 fine issued by the agency over the stunt, which created a national furor. Let’s all say it  together: “Huh”
