In the latest news on Chris I think I love my wife Rock…The Georgia woman who claims Chris fathered her 13-year-old son says she did everything possible to get the actor to take a DNA test before resorting to her lawsuit. Kali Bowyer e-mailed Georgia’s Statesboro Herald newspaper denying reports that she and Rock agreed to a DNA test 10 years ago, and that she “disappeared” before the test was ever conducted. Bowyer also said in her statement that she is not “100 percent” certain that Rock is her son’s father. “If I were 100 percent positive, I would not have requested a DNA test. I would have gone to the lawyers and courts for (a) child support order,” Bowyer said. Rock has admitted that he and Bowyer had a “limited relationship” years before he married his current wife, Malaak Compton-Rock. Last month, he asked Bulloch County Superior Court to start paternity proceedings to determine if he’s the father of Bowyer’s child. The 42-year-old comedian “desires to contribute to the support, maintenance and education” of the boy if there’s evidence to prove he’s the father, according to papers filed by Rock’s attorney.
…And the baby banter continues…The notorious gossip website MediaTakeOutthetruth.com is getting an eyeful as dozens upon dozens of readers chime in on the latest about Eddie Murphy and defunct Spice girl Melanie Brown. MTO in it’s usual take things out of context in an obvious attempt to sensationalize way is reporting an encounter Charlie Murphy had this past weekend, where he admonished a fan for speculating on the paternity of the new infant daughter of his brother Eddie’s ex. A woman reporting to have been on the other end of the comics tirade is saying: (Insert your own chicken head voiceover) “all of of a sudden Charlie Murphy turned and ran up on us like he was about to do something. He started yelling in our faces saying, “How are you so sure who the father is? Do you know either of them? What if I told you that Eddie had a vasectomy … you’d feel real stupid then, wouldn’t you.”
Of course the spin doctors over at MTO made sure that the above comments were preceded by the headline:
CHARLIE MURPHY’S STUNNING REVELATION!!

US magazine has an exclusive interview and pics of the new baby girl. The adorable Angel Iris Murphy Brown was born on April 3, 2007. Murphy has yet to submit to partnity testing to determine if he is indeed the father of the child that bears his name. Strangely reminiscent of one of our own pregnancies here on SDB US magazine quotes the former spice girl as saying that the baby was talked about and planned…hmm we wonder by who exactly. Check out photo’s of the soon to be 1 month old Angel. We are posting the link because we couldn’t even pick a photo from the bunch to show here—- they are all so adorable. The baby busness just keeps booming… TMZ.com is reporting that Actress Halle Berry was spotted getting her “baby buying” on at the latest trend spot (that shall remain nameless here – to protect the poor and wannabes that should not be spending their money on hollyweird BS). The Oscar winning actress reportedly dropped a grand at the upscale baby boutique buying all sorts of eco friendly clothes and trinkets for a baby girl. No word yet on who she was shopping for, but based on recent interviews where the actress has feverently stated her need to have a baby we can guess what this piece of gossip is trying to insinuate. So remember you heard it at TMZ first, Halle Berry could possibly, maybe, perhaps, they’re guessing, be pregnant or she could have been shopping for a friend!
In related news and in more ways then one (That’s right SdB eZine has the entertainment news coming and going…okay that was cheap and shameless)….
Zola Taylor the loveable lady member of the 50’s group The Platters has passed on in Riverside Calif. the 69 year old died from complications of pneumonia. Taylor joined The Platters in 1955 and went on to record many hits until leaving the group in 1964. Ms. Taylor went on to later tour with her own version of “The Platters” and retained an audience on the nightclub and fair circuit. Zola Taylor was probably best known for being part of the very public lawsuit to settle a copy write dispute in regard to the music of the late great 50’s artist Frankie Lymon. Ms. Taylor was the second of Frankie Lymon’s three wives.
Halle Berry portrayed her in the 1998 film Why Do Fools Fall In Love based on Frankie’s life and loves.
On TV: Millions will no doubt tune in to watch the mega hit American Idol. With six contestants left the race is on to see who will be the next manufactured star. In part charity and part ratings ploy the FOX show debuted a star studded semi telethon to highlight the poor and disadvantaged around the world which culmulated into an elimination freeze for the week. That’s right in a never done before move the FOX show let all 6 contestants remain one more week in the spirit of giving. American Idol announced yesterday that they collected upwards of $70 million dollars from corporations and everyday folx like you. Suckers. American Idol has been taking questions from fans through out the season…we at SDB have one…how much of the 70 million will actually make it to charity, we’re just asking…. the track record in music land is not that great…see We are the world . American Idol appears tonight on FOX check your local listing for times!
On SDB: It’s getting cold in here, so don’t take off your coat…(I am getting so bored I wanna find a new spot)…Is this the end of Shooting da Breeze, it seems the extended family from EverythingBlack has officially been broken apart. Rumors, tempers and ego’s have flared and now that the dust has settled the members are no where to be found. Although posting is at an all time low (even we at SdB eZine don’t hang out there) strangely enough visits to the site remain the same. We at the SdB eZine have to wonder what exactly is the point if you are not posting!? Fans of this online entertainment mag need not worry…Although SdB will be no more if participation does not pick up this month, your friendly eZine will still be the place to get your gossip on 3 days a week. We plan to be more consistent with the closure of the SDB forum we promise.

woman. We don’t know and something tells us we don’t want to know. But we bet you do…rumor has it that an industry insider working for FOX posting on VH1.com has spilled the beans about the former exotic dancer and five minutes of shame tar. This of course came from MTO (what other place would report such second hand info…we don’t count we’re reporting on them LOL) The anonymous insider went on to reveal that Sister Patterson who plays the mother in the train wreck of a reality show she stars in, is not NY’s mother.
