Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama will pay a visit to The Tyra Banks Show” . Tyra has annouced that the presidential hopeful will be featured in an episode to be taped Sept. 27 in New York. The news comes one day after it was announced that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” will launch its fifth season on Sept. 4 with fellow Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton.  Obama is the first presidential candidate to appear on Tyra’s syndicated program, which features mostly issues on relationship woes, self-esteem issues and makeovers.

Couple Watch!

Eddie Murphy is reportedly fed-up with Mel B and her antics as of late. The scorned baby mama has been extremely vocal regarding her ordeal with the comedic actor. Mel B. has given numerous interviews and conducted staged apprearances including the latest with Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife Nicole right before an appearance on Larry King Live. Mel B has retained oportunistic scum Gloria Allard for legal counsel and is reportedly making “unreasonable extortionate demands.”  Eddie and his handlers are fed-up and news reports state they have served Mel B with a cease and desist order demanding that she stop using his name during interviews. All we can say at the SdB eZine is: She do look kinda crazy in that pic…no on the real we were feeling for the b-list artist until she retained Gloria, now she gets no love. You might remember Gloria from her involvement in the Scott Peterson case She’s known for representing the lowest common dominator and hooking-up book deals before the bodies are dry.

Halle Berry’s rep has responded to rumors that the actress and Covergirl spokewoman is pregnant. For months speculation has been floating around that Halle wants to have a baby. Past and recent sightings at baby stories and the fact that she isn’t getting any younger have fueled the rumors…however Halle’s rep says there is no truth to the info and she is NOT pregnant by current boyfriend Gabriel Aubry…In unrelated developments Foxy Brown confirms to the NY post that she is indeed preggers and planning a September wedding no word on who the father maybe.  All we can say at the SdB eZine is: Who know’s it’s just no telling with these people.

Speaking of lying celebs… Gossip is floating around that Janet Jackson and her longtime man-friend Jermaine Dupri tied the not this weekend. Rumors of their pending numptials have been floating around for months and months. As we reported earlier in the year most of the time these rumors are started because of the need for record sales and/or publicity and fueled by the coy crooner. We don’t believe the hype you shouldn’t either.

What’s On!

It’s prime time NFL great Dieon Sanders got another chance to grace the little screen. The three time NFL champion will star in a new reality series on the Oxygen network detailing his family life in a small Texas town. The show will premiere this fall on the only network owned and operated by women including co-founder and part owner Oprah Winfrey.  

LL Cool J’s new series “The Man” may hit your T.V. screens after all. The pilot from the CSI crater Anthony Zuiter failed to make the cut for the fall line up but that’s all changed and LL is poised to be picked up for the mid-season line-up.  The ab man will play an under cop in L.A. who also takes care of a foster kid. We’ll keep you posted on the debut date.

Shar Jackson is set to guest star on the hit CW comedy Everybody Hates Chris. The federline baby mama has been cast in the role of a young mother (Alyson) whose teen daughter uses Chris’s sister as a cover to sneak into an R-rated movie and visit a boy’s house. Chris’s mother Rochelle, played by Tichina Arnold, takes Alyson aside to confront her about being a better role model.  Check your local listing for times and dates, because we don’t watch this show.

Terry McMillian’s ex husband Jonathan Plummer has made the move from kept man to novelist. The  one time husband of the famed writer has penned a new fictional tell-all. Balancing Act: A Novel,” to be released Sept. 4 by Simon & Schuster, is about a Jamaican man whose ordinary life is turned upside down when a powerful woman crosses his path and brings him into her world.   In “Balancing Act,” the woman owns a modeling agency and decides to sign the “handsome Jamaican man,” who she can’t resist n but the young man “discovers a hidden hunger for a male model.”

Speaking of holding onto five minutes of fame…Karrin Steffans the self proclaimed freak of the industry is making the media rounds promoting her new book Diary of a Video Vixen. Nick named Superhead Karrin turned her freaky tales into a bestsellar with the release of her greatly overrated and mildly interesting tell all.  Check-out superheads exclusive interview with Essence Magazine… All we can say at the SdB eZine is: Here’s hoping for…wait…we’re not sure what hookers hope for so we’ll just say “good luck with that”.
